Sound familiar?
A small part. A big production problem.
A discontinued component can put an otherwise useful machine at risk. Superior Chassis helps you work out what can be recreated, repaired, or improved.
"We can't get parts for this machine anymore."
"This bushing wears out and keeps causing failures."
"We need the same replacement for multiple machines."
"Can we send this assembly to you to repair?"
What we do
Built around your equipment.
One point of contact, backed by hands-on experience and outside resources for the work your equipment needs.
/01
Discontinued parts. Recreated.
When a replacement is no longer available, start with the component you have. We measure it, develop a CAD drawing, and assess a practical way to produce a replacement.
Shafts / Bushings / Rollers / Custom components
/02
Machinery. Rebuilt.
Disassembly, inspection, replacement-part production, and rebuilding for older machinery. We combine hands-on work with outside resources suited to the size and requirements of your project.
Inspection / Disassembly / Repair / Reassembly
/03
Recurring failures. Rethought.
A bushing wears out too quickly. A support no longer fits. The same part keeps breaking. We evaluate the problem and develop design changes for your application.
Reverse engineering / CAD / Component upgrades
/04
Custom work. Built to fit.
Welding and fabrication for the way your operation works, from equipment supports and plant carts to prototype assemblies and modified components.
MIG & TIG welding / Fabrication / Prototypes
A practical path forward
From the part you have to the part you need.
01
Understand the problem
Send photos, dimensions, equipment information, and a description of the failure. Tell us what the part needs to do and what you want to improve.
02
Measure & develop the design
We assess the component or machine, disassemble as needed, take measurements, and create CAD drawings to define the proposed work.
03
Produce & rebuild
Once the scope is agreed, we produce the parts and complete the repair or rebuild, coordinating outside machining, heat treating, seals, plating, or fabrication as the job requires.
01 / Design
Developing the assembly in CAD.
02 / Fabrication
Setting up the work at the table.
A project from the shop
The press still had a job to do.
A customer brought in a machine press with parts that were no longer available. Todd disassembled it, measured the components, created the CAD files, produced the parts, and rebuilt the machine.

The person behind the solution
A mechanical problem is a place to start.
Todd's work begins with understanding how a component works, where it fails, and what the machine needs from it.
His background spans mechanical diagnosis, design, fabrication, and repair. Through Superior Chassis, he brings that experience to the practical challenges of keeping older industrial equipment useful.
Our Waterford shop is the starting point—not the limit of our capabilities. Superior Chassis combines hands-on diagnosis, design, and repair with a broad network of outside resources to get the job done right.
We work with other machine shops, heat treating plants, seal manufacturers, plating companies, and fabrication shops equipped for larger projects, along with other specialist suppliers and service providers. Todd coordinates the resources each job requires, so the solution is driven by your project—not the size of one building.
